In this video I take a walk through Frederiksberg Have in Copenhagen to see what kind of nature photos can be found in a regular city park — even when the conditions aren’t ideal. Along the way I share how I approach scenes like this, how a tripod can help slow down the process, and why learning to see small details can completely change how you photograph a place.

 

This video was made in collaboration with K&F CONCEPT, who sent me the tripod used in this video to test in the field. Instead of reviewing it in a studio, I wanted to see how it fits into a real photography walk. If you're getting started with nature photography, remember that you don’t need dramatic mountains or remote locations — sometimes the best practice is simply learning to see what’s already around you.
