According to LLumors, Panasonic will release the LUMIX TZ300 camera on March 24th. This is one of two models Panasonic will be releasing soon. The other is a mirrorless camera, but it's currently unclear which model it will be.

24-360mm equivalent lens
3cm macro mode
This camera has the same zoom ratio as the currently available LUMIX TZ99. The upgraded features are highly anticipated, as the LUMIX TZ99's autofocus isn't particularly impressive. An upgrade to autofocus would be very attractive. Recently, the camera market has increasingly focused on mirrorless P&S cameras, and Canon is rumored to be releasing a new PowerShot series camera this year, which is highly anticipated.
