Canon releases PowerShot V1 camera, 22.3mp 1.4-inch CMOS

Canon's new PowerShot V1 camera uses Canon's self-developed 24 million pixel sensor CMOS image sensor, which is slightly larger than M4/3 and twice as large as one inch.


The camera has a multi-function hot shoe, built-in ND filter, lens optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization with 5-level image stabilization, mechanical shutter 1/2000, built-in cooling fan, support 4K60P video recording, 5.7K oversampling without cropping 4K30P, 2nd generation full pixel dual-core CMOS AF autofocus system,


Supports human and animal recognition, built-in beauty and skin care, fixed zoom lens with maximum aperture F2.8-4.5, video recording equivalent to about 17-52mm; picture photography equivalent to 16-50mm. The whole machine weighs about 425g and is not available in the United States for the time being.
