On August 27th, Sigma issued a service announcement. Due to orders exceeding expectations, the production schedule for the 17mm F4 DG Contemporary Silver Edition L-mount lens (there is no silver version for Sony E-mount) is currently unable to meet market demand. Therefore, some customers may experience extended wait times for product delivery.
