Rumors about the X-T6 release date

As previously reported, the X-T6 is expected to be available by the end of 2026.

Today, I can provide you with some more accurate information. As of this writing, Fujifilm plans to release the X-T6 in September 2026. September is one of the most active months for Fujifilm camera releases, so this release date is not particularly surprising, although the flagship X-T5 was actually released in November.

Expected to be available in September 2026?

The Fujifilm X-T6 will be a high-end camera from Fujifilm, and its image sensor and image processor are expected to be upgraded to the latest generation, thus improving autofocus performance. There is undoubtedly much to look forward to in the future, such as the pixel count of the sixth-generation image sensor, whether it will use a stacked or partially stacked design, and whether it will be equipped with an AI chip.

What is a stacked sensor?

It is a sensor with a multi-layered internal structure that can speed up information processing. It can capture moving objects without distortion and significantly improve continuous shooting and video performance!
