According to foreign media outlet Kamera Bild, Leica is about to release the Noctilux-M 35mm F1.2 ASPH. lens. Leica continues its "Noctilux" lens series, a name that originated with a series of large-aperture lenses launched in 1966.
With the release of this new full-frame lens, the Leica Noctilux-M 35mm F1.2 ASPH., it became the first 35mm Noctilux lens in the Leica M system. Previously, the series only offered 50mm and 75mm focal lengths. Leica states that the lens's advantages lie in its shallow depth of field at large apertures, beautiful bokeh, and sharpness across the entire focal plane, making it ideal for advanced portrait, documentary, or street photography.
