OM System to Develop Lenses for Landscape Photography

According to Japanese media outlet DCLife, OM System developer Keitaro Yokoyama and product planner Kyoji Murayama discussed future product plans in an interview with Gizmomofreaks. While they couldn't reveal specific future plans, their remarks hinted at some potential solutions, which we'll explore. OM System believes that with lenses like the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 90mm F3.5 Macro IS PRO and the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25xIS PRO, OM System has already provided value for subjects such as birds, wildlife, and outdoor macro photography. OM System will also need to consider the remaining "landscape" category, either developing new products or upgrading existing products.

In the interview, OM System emphasized its focus on the outdoor sector, with particular emphasis on four core areas: landscape photography, birds, wildlife, and outdoor macro photography. New lenses suitable for landscape photography are likely to be released in the future.
