Canon has applied for certification for its new camera. Surprisingly, Canon is preparing to register a brand new EOS camera equipped with dual-band WiFi 6 wireless capability, and the model is currently undergoing the wireless certification process.

This wireless system has previously been used in the EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II.

The following are all possible scenarios:

1. The new model may be a flagship model like the EOS R1 or EOS R5 Mark II; I personally suspect it might be the EOS R5C2. Will it be able to demonstrate 4K 60p and 8K oversampling capabilities?

2. The wireless specification will be extended to lower-end models. After all, WiFi 6 itself isn't particularly novel, but considering the EOS R63 was just released, it's difficult to predict whether lower-end models will adopt this wireless specification. The EOS R6C, EOS R7 Mark II, and EOS R8 Mark II are all possible choices.

3. The EOS R3C LC1720, a camera primarily focused on video functionality, has a wide range of applications. Perhaps the C80's card slot and encoding technology could be ported to the C50 body. However, using the EOS R3 body to build a camcorder seems impractical, so this possibility is unlikely.
