Canon's official Japanese store has marked the EOS-1DX Mark 3 flagship DSLR camera as discontinued. Looking back, Canon announced the development of the EOS-1DX Mark 3 in October 2019. This flagship product was officially launched on January 7, 2020.
By professional standards, the EOS-1D XMark 3 isn't a very old camera. That being said, Canon has quietly but firmly ended the EF mount's legacy. Therefore, the quiet discontinuation of the EOS-1DX Mark 3 isn't surprising. Retailers may still have stock, but once it sells out, it's likely the end of the line for the EOS-1DX Mark 3, and indeed for the entire DSLR line.
