According to Fuij Rumors, Fujifilm will release the X-T6 camera, the successor to the X-T5, in the second half of 2026. For reference, the release dates for the X-T series models are listed below:

X-T1: January 2014

X-T2: July 2016

X-T3: September 2018

X-T4: February 2020

X-T5: November 2022

To date, the series has released successors approximately every two years, leading to rumors that the X-T6 might be released in 2024 or 2025. However, according to FuiiRumors, it seems we'll have to wait until the second half of 2026.

While the X-T5 looks almost perfect, it could be even better if the autofocus performance were improved with an updated processor. While the size limitations might make this difficult, support for CFexpress memory cards would be a welcome addition.
