Leica to Release New SL Camera Based on Panasonic S1RII

According to Leica Rumors, Leica will release a new SL camera in 2026, which may be based on the Panasonic LUMIX S1RII. Furthermore, this camera will be positioned between the existing Leica SL3 (60MP) and Leica SL3-S (24MP). Rumored specifications of the new Leica SL camera:

44.3MP sensor (based on LUMIX S1RII)

Improved autofocus (better than SL3-S)

Video capabilities may be weaker than other SL3 series models
